Terms & Conditions
Failure to follow these guidelines may disqualify an artist or forfeit award eligibility.
- Open to all artists and genres of non-functional, original work. (Digital Media and Photography Policy)
- Non-refundable entry fee is $35 for YAA members and $50 for non-members, and covers up to three (3) digital submissions. Up to 110 pieces will be accepted.
- Accepted entries will be notified via email and in artist’s ARTCALL account.
- All works must be hand-delivered. No shipments of entries accepted.
- Submitted digital images may not include frames, unless framing is an integral part of the work. Accepted work must not deviate from photo image submitted.
- Works must be completed in the past three years (or after Sept of 2022) and not previously accepted in the YAA Open Juried Exhibition.
- Hanging works must be fully dry, wired only with twisted, braided wire and framed, or have finished gallery-wrapped canvas edges.
- Dimensions must not exceed 48”x60”, including the frame. (either direction)
- Sculptures must be handled and set up by the artist.
- All entries are insured once received, through 12/16/2025 and may not be changed or removed from the gallery.
- Entry implies consent for image use in publicity, catalog, and education.
- YAA retains 25% commission for YAA members or 30% for non-members on works works sold.
- Each work must have a declared value for insurance purposes. ‘Price on request’ and ‘price for prints’ information is not permitted.
- If unable to retrieve your works during scheduled hours, the artist is responsible for arranging a representative to do so.
- York Art Association is not responsible for work left unclaimed after 2pm on 12/16/2025.
